Janet Solyntjes speaks with us about the Colorado MBSR Teacher Group.

In our last episode we learned about the formation of a community of mindfulness teachers in the Pacific Northwest. In today’s interview, we move to another part of the country, exploring this growing need for peer interaction for teachers.

Janet Solyntjes, MA, is a Certified MBSR Teacher and practitioner of mind-body disciplines since 1977. Janet completed a professional training in MBSR with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli in 2002, and is on the faculty of the Center for Mindfulness as one of the Retreat Leaders. Janet leads meditation and yoga retreats in the US,Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and is a senior teacher in the Shambhala tradition and has taught extensively as an Adjunct Professor at Naropa University.
